For those outside the state, I am open to meeting at a hotel or rented office space in a Tennessee city of your choice. A travel fee is added to cover the cost of travel and any necessary arrangements.

Online therapy offers convenience and works well for individual intensives, especially for those looking for a flexible option. For couples, online therapy is still very beneficial, but many prefer in-person sessions to create a more focused, relaxing environment. In-person intensives often provide a chance for couples to disconnect from daily life, enjoy a mini getaway, and revitalize and rejuvenate their relationship.

Whether you’re an individual or a couple, you can expect to feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated in a safe, comfortable environment. I prioritize creating a space where you feel truly heard and supported. During your first session, we’ll take the time to discuss your unique needs and goals, ensuring that the therapy process is tailored specifically to you.
For individuals, this session will focus on understanding your personal challenges and setting the foundation for effective, transformative work. For couples, we’ll begin by exploring your relationship dynamics, creating a collaborative plan to address any issues, and fostering deeper connection and communication.
Above all, your first session is about making you feel that the time and space dedicated to your intensive intervention is truly designed for you—special, unique, and completely focused on your growth and healing.

I am out-of-network at Creating Hope Couples Intensives. However, I provide a Good Faith Estimate in accordance with the No Surprise Act.
I accept payments via all major credit and debit cards, HSA, CashApp, PayPal, or personal check (which must be received and cleared before the intensive). Typically, 50% of the total fee is due at the time the service is scheduled, with the remaining balance due on the day of the intensive.
Please note, the fee is non-refundable but can be applied to another date if you need to reschedule.

Intensive therapy is a powerful, focused approach designed to create deep, lasting change in a short amount of time. It’s a game-changer for individuals and couples who want to make rapid progress on their personal or relationship goals. Instead of traditional weekly sessions, intensives are longer, immersive sessions that allow for more in-depth work, providing a quicker path to healing and transformation.
It’s often a life-changing experience—and, in many cases, it’s a more affordable option than divorce! Whether you’re seeking to overcome personal challenges or improve your relationship, intensive therapy can provide the focused support you need to create lasting change.

I completed two full weekends of EMDR training in 2012, each accompanied by 5 hours of supervision, and I received certificates of completion for both weekends. I want to be clear that I am not EMDRIA-certified or formally approved. While I have not pursued ongoing consultation since my original training, I am currently considering re-engaging with consultation to continue deepening my work with EMDR.
That said, I have used EMDR with clients who reported powerful and often profound experiences. One client shared that although they experienced intense anxiety the day after the session, the anxiety quickly lifted—and they found lasting relief. Others have described it as "remarkable" and “transformative.” I offer EMDR as one of several modalities when appropriate, always in collaboration with the client’s needs, comfort level, and goals.
What is EMDR?
EMDR is an effective therapeutic approach used to help individuals process trauma and emotional distress. By using guided eye movements, EMDR helps reprocess negative memories and reduce their emotional charge, leading to healing. For the best results, EMDR sessions are suggested to be scheduled for no less than 90 minutes, but no more than four hours, allowing enough time to process deep emotional wounds and integrate new ways of thinking and feeling.
Therapy Approaches
-
Couples Intensives
This transformative experience for couples provides more time, focus, and depth than the typical one-hour session. Whether you're struggling with communication, emotional distance, or feeling disconnected, intensives provide a “fast track” to rebuilding trust and intimacy.
-
Individual Intensives
These extended therapy sessions are for individuals facing relationship struggles, trauma, self-esteem issues, or seeking EMDR therapy. Intensives offer a deep, personalized approach to healing, allowing you to make significant progress in a condensed timeframe.
-
Mini Intensives
This 4-hour session acts as a bridge between traditional therapy and full-day intensives - a great option for those wanting to “try out” intensive therapy. Mini intensives give you and your partner the chance to truly dig deep and create lasting change, rather than starting over each week.
